Following years of charitable giving to various American Indian organizations, our company decided to formalize our efforts and established the Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company Foundation in 1997.

The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to help preserve, promote and advance American Indian self sufficiency and culture.

Using dedicated funds from a portion of the sale of every pack, pouch and tin of SFNTC’s tobacco products, the Foundation’s three primary objectives are the development of American Indian entrepreneurs, the facilitation of American Indian education, and the preservation of American Indian languages.

Over the years, the Foundation has helped support organizations such as the Indigenous Languages Institute, The American Indian College Fund, the Institute for American Indian Arts, the Women Weavers of Chiapas, the Native American Rights Fund, the Total Immersion Treaty School, and many others.

In 2009, Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company contributed nearly $560,000 to the Foundation.

Our company also donates tobacco to numerous American Indian organizations across the country for ceremonial use, and is a founder of the Institute of American Indian Art Museum, here in Santa Fe.

ECO TIPS

Buy in season. Not only will your food taste fresher, but the farmer will have to use less energy to grow it.

ROADSIDE CLEANUP

SFNTC participates in the Adopt-A-Highway program, in which we go out four times a year and clean up a stretch of roadway near our Santa Fe headquarters.
