Santa Fe Natural Tobacco Company was founded on principles of quality, authenticity and environmental sustainability. At the time, our vision of an additive-free tobacco product was revolutionary.
That vision is carried out further in our commitment to sustainability, including a dedication to continuous improvement in lessening our impact on the planet. From encouraging recycling and energy conservation in our facilities, to creating more sustainable packaging, to even developing an organic suckercide to make earth-friendly tobacco growing more economical — all play a vital part in bringing our vision to life.
In our marketing, SFNTC has always been committed to honesty about our products, including the belief that smoking is an adult choice, that non-smokers should not start smoking, smokers should not smoke more, and those who want to quit should do so. We are also clear in our communications that no additives in the tobacco does not make our products safer, nor does organic tobacco make them safer.
This commitment includes a dedication to preventing youth smoking. We added “sales to minors prohibited” to our packs. We communicate with and distribute marketing materials only to those adult tobacco consumers 21 years of age and older, and offer age verification materials to retailers.
We’re continuously growing our relationships with our employees, consumers, customers and communities. Our community extends beyond our family at the workplace to include the many people we assist with our employee outreach projects, as well as philanthropic commitments.
